Massimo Claudio Comparini, is one of the original founders of Cucina e Vini magazine, and has twenty years experience in writing about wine.Fluent in English, he often travels abroad to teach wine appreciation classes and is an expert on wine and finance.

Ian D’Agata, is a well-known wine expert in Italy, with over twenty-five years experience in the world of wine and food.He is the co-author of the annual wine guide “D’Agata & Comparini: Italy’s Best Wines”,  numerous other texts on wine such and the Guida ai Vitigni Autoctoni 2004 del Gambero Rosso (a guide to Italy’s native grape varieties).

Antonio Di Spirito, After spending over thirty years in the IT world, in 2006 he dedicated himself to the world of wine, in which he has been working with a passion since the early Seventies. He started producing his own wine in 1971 by buying grapes for family use. In 1981 he planted a small vineyard, which he still cultivates. After reading many handbooks and encyclopedias (the first one in 1978 by Luigi Veronelli) and attending many courses, he now teaches at the Rome International Wine School where he organizes and leads wine tastings.
